Unfortunately, I am unableto watch and thus cannot support, the shiny tan Italian bastards, as my eyes keep following this guy:

Is there really anyone in Australia supporting Italy after their game against OZ? I watched with a group of Australians who were all cheering for France- mostly b/c they're all anti-Italy.
Oh, and when Italy won, the only pro-Italy guy around us commented that you can't expect much from a team who capitulated so quickly to the Nazis- that team being France. I'm not sure he was to clear on the whole WWII concept.
The general POV here is that everyone is glad Italy won as at least we got knocked out by (but almost and perhaps should have beat) the team that went on to win.
I figure they make good food, and I love fois gras.
