Commissioning!

Hi!

So I realise that I haven't said hello in a while. The reason for this is that my new job leaves me no spare time at all. The good thing about all of this is that I love my new job. I have two instruments to commission with the team, which means that i have two jobs, but I also learn twice as much. It has been a very exciting and rewarding time so far, although I have been working very long weeks with no time off for the past two at all, and many nights past midnight.

In other news, we get the keys to our new place in a few days time..... Yay! Then its onto cosmetic renovation for the next two weeks! Less yay!

My brother Richard and his wife Li and new baby Jonathan are visiting from Singapore too. I am very excited to be an aunty, and thankfully this is the first baby in history that sleeps straight through from 8pm until 8am. I am well shocked, especially given the carry on that my mum says my brother and I made when we were babies.

Anyway, when we are set up in our new house I should have a more premanent setupfor at home internet access and therefore can post more often. But you know what? I am not making any promises or apologies as ITS MY BLOODY BLOG and I don't have to post anything anyway.

Today I am at home - its Saturday, I don't have to work until 5pm so i am making pancakes!
