Last weekend and... a HOLIDAY!

Thought I'd write about last weekend as I hadn't already.

Saturday we went climbing in the mountains - at Mt Piddington. Awesome day - a little too spicy in the celcius department, but great nonetheless. I climbed a bunch of trad stuff, including the Judas-Messiah Exit Connection (19) which was really cool and I got pumped. Note to self (again): get comfy shoes!!

Sunday I had my mum and nan over for a roast lunch, which passed the day kind of slowly but one has to do these things. It was a very nice day, except for the fact that I had to work all Sunday night and Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday...

So today is Friday, and I'm very glad to announce that tomorrow (after I come in here - AGAIN) I'm leaving for a biggish holiday. Taking out time wandering to Canberra for dinner with the fabulous Lesley, then onto Melbourne to see lots of our pals. From there we will head to Mt Arapiles for a week or so with side trips to the Coonawarra wine region (fabulous wine area) and then back to Melbourne for Timmeh's birthday! Yay once again!
