chipped tooth
Friday: Upper abdiminal ultrasound to check organs for possible problem causing crazy pain in chest, ala heart attack (or possible gall stones as the specialist says, although I've always thought I just had reflux).
Sat and Sun: Climb yer ass off.
Monday: had 400 micro Sieverts of radioactive material injected into my veins to check my gall bladder function. Scream radiation for the next two days, so to work on Tuesday afternoon and set off all the radiation detectors. Use colleagues as shielding.
Wed-Monday: Helped run a neutron scattering school at work, which was fun, but labour intensive and time consuming. But worthwhile, I think.
Tuesday: Neutron users group conference - quite good, but more work. Meanwhile, my fabulous paper got shot down in a blaze of glory. You may remember these words from a famous Bon Jovi song. Not all is lost though.
Today: Had Gastroscopy and organ biopsies. Was the sceond person ever that decided not to use any anaesthetic. the first person, according to the specialist, was an anaethatist who had to work that afternoon. There is no irony lost in this fact. I also find out that my gall bladder does NOTHING and is a wasted organ in my body.
Toodle hoo.
