Broadbanded!
I know its a crappy photo. I'm not planned enough to have a post ready to go, so i had to make one up on the fly. This is what you get.
We need furniture. What are those tiny rodent-like creatures called that are related to anteaters and their whole life is spent running high-speed around a series of tracks that they must have memorised in order to avoid being eaten by flying predators? My house is like that now, without the flying predators.
And I have developed insomnia. Well, its not really insomnia - not true insomnia, but i wake up at 3 am and stay awake dreaming of being queen of the universe/inventing a new phase of matter/ finding built in wardrobes for less than a thousand bucks, etc. Usually until about 4 or 4.30 am. Its getting on my nerves. I think i need to excercise more, but I also think I'm getting sick.
Mikl is in Japan. I came home early to get broadband installed (hence the posting) and cooked myself some gluten free pasta for lunch. Not impressive on it's own, i know, but get this - i ate the cooked equivalent of 750 g of uncooked pasta with an entire (750 g) jar of pasta sauce and anchovies. I just started eating and could stop. That was at 1.30pm. Its 6.30pm and i don't think I'll ever eat again. What is happening to me?!
Anyway - I'm stressed, as usual. Any ideas for de-stressing?
The new reactor is ofiicially being opened this week - the prime minister is coming out on Friday and tomorrow is the science and buisiness opening. I am an official "ambassador" representing neutron scattering. Should be fun. Or not, whatev. We aren't allowed to eat anything in the official welcoming tent, so poo-bah to them i say.
